Ingredients
Candied Walnuts:
1 small packet of Walnuts
1/2 cup white sugar.
Instructions
In a pot over medium heat add in the sugar and keep the sugar moving, the sugar will begin to melt carry on mixing.
You should end up with a runny golden syrup .
Add in your walnuts and mix well.
Place your mixture onto a prepared baking tray and separate the nuts using two forks.
Allow to cool completely about 20-30 minutes (caution: melted sugar is extremely hot)
Break into pieces.
You can use these on cakes and desserts or as a simple snack.
