  • 5 Russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 4 TBS vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp Seasoned salt

Instructions

  1. Soak the cut potatoes in ice water for 1 hour. Drain.
  2. In a cold skillet, add the oil, a layer of potatoes, onions and seasonings. Repeat.
  3. Cook on medium-high heat for 45 minutes to 1 hour, only turning the potatoes once. (I waited 30 minutes before flipping.)
