Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 pound cooked bacon, cut into pieces
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 12 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef, garlic, and onion powder until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Spread the cooked beef mixture in the casserole dish and mix in the bacon pieces.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and half of the shredded Cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the beef and bacon in the casserole dish.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining Cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
